About me

My name is Adam Sawicki. I was born in 1984. I currently live in Warsaw, Poland. I am a Polish programmer interested in graphics programming and game programming. I've graduated computer science at Czestochowa University of Technology.

Work Experience

• October 2009 - present: Work for Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. (biggest Polish digital satellite television provider). Sekcja oprogramowania dekoderów. Position: Programmer. Responsibilities: Coding internal tools for processing data in MPEG-2 and DVB standards. Technologies: C++, C++/CLI and other.
• February - June 2010: Outsourcing parts of game editor code for 11bit Studios. Technologies: C++, wxWidgets.
• July 2008 - September 2009: Work for Metropolis Software (game development studio). Project: They (FPS game). Position: Technology programmer. Responsibilities: Engine optimization, tools maintenance, porting to Xbox 360. Technologies: C++, DirectX 9, Xbox 360, MFC.
• 2008: Developed Aqua Fish 2 game published by Play Publishing.
• July 2006 - September 2006: Internship in headquarters of Microsoft Corporation in Redmond - WA, USA Position: Software Design Engineer. Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining internal tools used in development of Windows Vista.
